About Our Cottage
Welcome to our little cottage nestled in the tiny village of Ponsworthy in Dartmoor National Park.
Honeysuckle Cottage is believed to be over 400 years old, and originally a farm workers cottage.
Tucked under a traditional thatched roof, this keeps the cottage warm in winter and col in summer.
The cottage is perfect for a couple who are looking to explore Dartmoor with lots of walking routs from the front door and Widecombe in the moor close by with its lovely pubs and quaint shops.

Our cottage is very old! Please do not expect level floors, high ceilings and modern touches. We love our bumpy, wonky cottage which is full of character!

There is a small courtyard to the side of the cottage and the garden is detached on the opposite side of the road up some narrow stone steps. The garden has wonderful seating and views but is not securely fenced/ dog proof.
Garden access is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Our cottage may not be suitable if your very tall! We have low ceilings in this cottage!
This cottage is our family home- but we certainly know how to get the cottage guest ready! All guest areas of our cottage will be cleared of our things and will be ready just for you!
